City Students Visited IISR

132 Students of Sacred Heart School, Lucknow visited ICAR-IISR, Lucknow on 24.01.2020. The Students were exposed with sugarcane mechanization process and Implements like sugarcane planters, ratoon management device and sprayers developed by the Institute was shown to them. They have also learnt quality Jaggery production demonstrated by the scientists Sugarcane varieties and production technologies were also demonstrated during there visit in the technology park of the Institute, Dr. A.D. Pathak, Director ICAR-IISR explained them about the contribution of the Institute in the sugarcane research development. The visiting faculties of the School also interacted with Dr. A.K. Sah, I/c, Extension & Training on the various activities being carried by the Institute. During visit Dr. B.Lal, Dr. Kamta Prasad, Dr. Sukhbir Singh and Dr. Lallan Sharma explained the technologies to the student.
