Training programme for under graduate / post- graduate students
The internship training programme of one to six months will be offered to students doing B.Sc/ B.Tech/ M.Sc/ M.Tech in Agricultural Science or Life Science disciplines including Economics, Statistics and Bioinformatics. The training aims at providing an opportunity for carrying out research in various aspects of agricultural science.
Terms and conditions:
- Application in the prescribed format (Annexure I) with detailed bio-data and relevant documents from prospective candidates will be received round the year. The short listed candidates will be informed by email.
- The application form must be sent along with a recommendation letter from the Head of the Institute/College/University.
- The selected candidate will have to work in one of the on-going projects of the Institute under the supervision of a scientist of the Institute and duly nominated by the competent authority.
- Products, technologies, patents, IPRs, processes, protocols and publications from the internship training will be in the name of ICAR-IISR, Lucknow and trainees shall have no right to claim.
- Institute will not provide any boarding/lodging, medical facility and any other benefits of the Institute to the trainees.
- The completion Certificate for the training shall be given by the PME Cell on completion of their internship.
- Director, IISR will have sole discretionary power to settle unforeseen events or disputes, if any.
- Fee once submitted will not be refunded / transferred. ITMC recommendations apply in this regard.
- Director or trainer will not be responsible for any kind of accident or hazards met by the trainees during experimentation, handling of equipment or other infrastructure etc.

Fee (Training Charges)

| >One month upto three months | Rs.20,000/- |
| >Three months upto six month | Rs.30,000/- |
| Course Fee is exempted for students of SAU/CAU | |
