IRC MEETING OF ICAR-IISR, LUCKNOW ORGANIZED

The meeting of Institute Research Council of the ICAR-Indian Institute of Sugarcane Research, Lucknow was held under the chairmanship of Dr A.D. Pathak, Director of the Institute on May 27 – June 4, 2020 for the first time through Video Conferencing using MS Teams software. All the Scientists of the Institute, working at the IISR Headquarters, Lucknow; IISR Regional Station, Motipur (Bihar); IISR Sugarbeet Breeding Outpost, Mukteswar (Uttarakhand); IISR Biological Control Centre, Pravaranagar (Maharashtra) and five newly joined Scientists participated in the meeting. In this meeting, research achievements of different on-going research projects for the period , April – December 2019 were reviewed and technical programme for the year 2020-21 was discussed and finalized. IRC through video conferencing facility was the first experience at the Institute and all Scientists used it efficiently for meeting and Power Point presentation.
